You want to talk about the ultimate barn find! Well here it is.
Never registered, never titled 1979 Ford F150 4x4 short wheel base step side bed. 351 V-8 engine.
Automatic transmission.
We only washed with water to get the dust off the exterior. It will need to be buffed and waxed if desired.
Yes that's right never titled! We have the original Ford MSO. Title it as you would if you were buying a brand new
vehicle. The MSO is basically Fords title. No state has ever registered this truck.
This truck has only 2345.4 miles! Yes that's right. Twenty three hundred forty five miles.
Everything is 100% original on this truck except what we had done to get it road worthy.
Even the wood in the bed is original! This is the real deal. You will NEVER find another truck like this one again.
This is a non air condition truck. No radio. Rubber floor mat.
We picked this truck up from a local Ford dealership owner that brought it home in 1979 and parked it inside his
warehouse.
He drove it occasionally. He would put dealer tags on to drive it. It has ALWAYS been stored indoors since new. It
is still like new. The interior still smells new!
We had it towed on a flatbed truck straight to our mechanic shop. Very reputable, honest shop located in Dallas,
Tx. We told them to go over this truck and make sure that EVERYTHING that needed to be done was done and use only
Ford original parts except it they were no longer available then use the best aftermarket parts.
This truck is amazing! If you want a new truck but either don't like new truck prices or you want an old original
NEW truck this is your chance to own that truck. You will not be disappointed!
Here is what all was done at automotive shop: you will get all receipts:
Oil & filter
Marvel Mystery oil
New battery
Spark plugs
Filled front and rear differential case w/ 85W-90
New fuel line
New hose clamps
New fuel tank sender
New valve cover gaskets
Brakes cleaned
New rear pinion seal
T.C. Seal
2 New front axle seals
#2 Intake push rod (they think this was stuck when engine was first started so it was replaced)
New fuel tank
Carb rebuilt
New fuel filter
New fuel pump
New tank gasket
A total of $2474.43 spent to bring this truck back to it's great running and driving condition.
We also replaced the old dry rotted Firestone bias-ply tires with 4 new Cooper radial tires.
Still has the original spare.
This is a true time machine. It starts right up without having to touch the gas pedal. Everything works as new!
The only flaws we could fine was a few minor nicks in the original paint. One small dime size dent in the corner of
the hood.
This is a basic manual window, clear glass, no radio, non A/C truck.
